The Volunteering Platform is Live!
After two years development working closely with Livery Companies and schools, our new free-to-use online tool for matching schools nationwide (and their needs) with volunteers was launched on Wednesday 6th September 2017 in the City of London at Mercers' Hall.
David Barker, Livery Schools Link Director and the Project Director for the Volunteering Platform, unveiled the platform to over 80 people drawn from schools, businesses, Livery Companies, Multi-Academy Trusts, City Hall and the City of London Corporation.
Schools are now invited to sign-up on the system to register their requests for volunteers, who are members of Livery Companies, to do Motivational Career Talks and Employability sessions for pupils.
Volunteers who are members of Livery Companies are also invited to register to help schools.
If you organise employability programmes in schools, and would like to request volunteers through the platform, please contact us to discuss how to apply for our partner programme.
Contact David Barker if you have any questions about the Volunteering Platform.
